# Reado.kids > Reading adventures for children aged 8–14: read true stories, crack questions, discover words and build reading speed and understanding. Reado.kids is a web-based reading practice app. Learners read educational passages, answer comprehension questions, and review their reading pace (words per minute) and question results. Reading can be self-paced or use guided word highlighting. Spelling practice and XP are additional features. ## Audience and accounts - Children aged 8–14 practise in learner accounts. - Parents use separate parent accounts to connect a learner and follow reading progress, including passages, question results and reading pace. - Parents do not need to complete the learner's exercises themselves. - The homepage has a playable sample story with two comprehension questions, one contextual vocabulary question and answer explanations. It needs no sign-in, saves no results and does not set a level. - The interactive exercise and account features require JavaScript. ## Access and plans - Levels 1–10 are free to get started, with no credit card required. - Paid Pro access is available beyond the free levels. The app offers monthly, annual and lifetime options. - Consult the current plan and checkout details before purchasing. This guide deliberately does not quote monetary prices that may change. ## Public pages - [Home and sample reading exercise](https://reado.kids/): product overview, the Read → Answer → Review routine, sample exercise and plan information. - [Sign in or set up a learner account](https://reado.kids/login?role=student): learner account access. - [Parent sign-in](https://reado.kids/login?role=parent): parent account access for connecting a learner and following progress. ## Crawling resources - [Public sitemap](https://reado.kids/sitemap.xml): canonical, publicly indexable pages.
